Well it’s cold and flu season and I refuse to get sick! Being a mother of three small children and running my hair salon, I have no time to be down. This is my homemade antibiotic/immune booster recipe that keeps me healthy, energized and fights off all the nasty crud that comes my way.

Apple Cider Vinegar: Kills harmful bacteria and prevents them from multiplying.
Onion: Contains antioxidants and compounds that fight inflammation.
Garlic: Increases the level of healthy bacteria. Helps to prevent and reduce the severity of common illnesses like the flu and common cold.
Chili Peppers: The most powerful circulation stimulators.
Ginger: A strong circulation stimulate and has powerful anti-inflammatory properties.
Horseradish: A powerful herb known for opening up sinus and lungs.
Turmeric: This spice is known for cleaning infections and fighting inflammation.
Oil of Oregano: A powerful antioxidant that stops the growth of harmful bacteria. It’s a natural antifungal that can also support the immune system and protect against toxins.
Ingredients
1 bottle of Braggs apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped garlic
4 fresh jalapeno peppers
1/2 cup grated ginger
2 tbsp grated horseradish
2 tbsp turmeric
2 tbsp oil of oregano
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients (except vinegar) into a large mason jar. 2. Add vinegar and fill to the top. 3. Close tight and shake. 4. Keep jar in a cool, dry location (either pantry or cabinet) and shake daily for two weeks. 5. After 14 days, squeeze and strain with cloth. 6. Store your immune booster tonic in the fridge. Lasts long.
Tips
– Save chopped ingredients and mix with olive oil to use for cooking or salads. – Wear gloves when chopping peppers.
Dosage
Do not take on an empty stomach. – Start with 1 teaspoon daily to build the immune system. – Increase the amount slowly to 1 tablespoon daily. – increase the amount daily until you reach 1 cup a day.
